The "write" keyword possible on "fence" commands only causes changes to be saved immediately, its use is not recommended. By default all "fence" commands are saved after a 5 minute timeout (from the issuing of the last command) to minimise the amount of erase / write cycles performed to internal memory. It is recommended that "fence" command messages should be done in groups with a gap of no-longer than 5 minutes between them, and should not be done unnecessarily. "unit" commands are saved immediately as they are only likely to be changed infrequently. Unit / fence names, and passwords can consist of a-z, A-Z, 0-9 only without spaces to a maximum of 8 characters. A maximum of 1 fence breach SMS will be sent per hour. If you wish to reset the 1hr timeout this can be done via the "resettimeout" command.
